Who we are
Water Sort: Color Puzzle IQ is published by Gamesira, an independent game studio. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Gamesira. This policy covers the Android game only; our website has its own privacy page.
Information stored on your device
The game saves the following on your device so that you can continue where you left off:
- your game progress: levels, stars, coins, items, unlocked bottle styles and themes, goals and achievements;
- your settings, such as sound, haptics, color symbols and reduced motion;
- timers and counters for features such as hearts, daily rewards, the Daily Lucky Wheel and ad cooldowns;
- a randomly generated install identifier that the game uses internally to keep local data and rewards consistent. It is not linked to your name, account or advertising ID.
We do not receive this information: there are no player accounts and no game server.
If Android backup is enabled on your device, Android may include the game’s saved data in your device backup to your Google account, according to your device settings. Ad-related bookkeeping is excluded from backups.
Advertising and the information Google collects
Water Sort: Color Puzzle IQ is free and is supported by ads from Google AdMob. The game shows:
- optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for in-game bonuses;
- occasional full-screen ads between levels, never in the middle of a puzzle and never when the game opens.
To deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google’s Mobile Ads software that is built into the game sends information to Google. According to Google’s published disclosure for this software, that information includes:
- device and account identifiers: your Android advertising ID and app-set ID;
- your IP address, which can help estimate your general location;
- product interactions: for example app launches, taps and video views;
- diagnostic information: for example app launch time, hang rate and energy usage.
Google states that it uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and that it is encrypted in transit. Google acts under its own privacy policy and advertising policies, linked below. We do not control what Google does with this information and we are not able to see or delete it.
We use AdMob’s reporting tools to see aggregated ad performance. We do not receive information from Google that identifies you personally.
Consent and your advertising choices
Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some US states), the game asks for your consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform before any ad is requested. Ads are requested only when your consent status allows it. If the consent service cannot be reached, the game uses the last valid choice saved on your device; if there is none, it does not request ads.
- You can review or change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options. The button to change your choice appears where a choice is required.
- You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in your Android settings. When the advertising ID is deleted, apps receive a string of zeros instead of it.
- If you decline, or if consent information is unavailable, the game stays fully playable, including offline, without ads.
Age and young players
Water Sort: Color Puzzle IQ is intended for players aged 16 and over. It is not designed for or marketed to younger children, and it does not contain a chat, accounts or user profiles.
We do not ask for your age and do not try to work it out, so the game cannot tell how old a player is. Google may apply its own protections to users it knows to be minors, for example for accounts managed with Family Link. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child is using the game, you can uninstall it, and you can contact us at the address below.
Analytics and diagnostics
This version of the game does not include a third-party analytics or crash-reporting service. Basic usage events, such as completing a level, contain no personal information and are kept on your device only.
Google Play and Android may collect crash and performance information according to your device settings, and may share aggregated reports with developers. We do not receive information that identifies you.
Permissions
The game needs network access to request ads and to know whether a connection is available. It can use device vibration for haptic feedback. The Google ads components included in the game add related permissions: access to the advertising ID, to Android’s Privacy Sandbox ad services (advertising ID, attribution and topics), and to background-work scheduling. The game does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location.
How long data is kept and how to delete it
Game data stays on your device until you erase it. You can:
- reset your progress in Settings → Reset all progress;
- clear the game’s storage in Android settings; or
- uninstall the game.
Because the game has no accounts, there is no account to delete. Information that Google’s ads software has already sent to Google is kept according to Google’s own policies; you can use the controls in your Google account and Android settings (linked below) and reset your advertising ID. We cannot access or delete that information.
Security
Game data on your device is kept in the game’s private storage, which Android isolates from other apps. We do not operate servers that hold your game data. Information sent by Google’s ads software is encrypted in transit according to Google. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your rights and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information, such as to access it, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy of it, withdraw consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. Residents of some US states may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing of personal information.
Because we do not hold personal information about you, requests about advertising data are best directed to Google through its privacy tools. You can change your choices in the game under Settings → Privacy options and in your Android settings. You are always welcome to write to us with a question or a request and we will do our best to help or point you to the right place.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game changes, for example if analytics or purchases are added, and we will do so before such a change is released. The version and date at the top of this page show when it was last updated.
